Australian WildLaw Alliance

Australian Wild Law Alliance (AWLA) recently launched a website for its new, expanding organization.  The organization is a grounding rod for Wild Law and Rights of Nature “down under”.

Stay tuned and engaged with AWLA at www.WildLaw.org.au or their Facebook page. You can find AWLA by clicking the facebook icon on the new AWLA website; by searching for ‘Australian Wild Law Alliance’, or clicking here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Australian-Wild-Law-Alliance/250157398335531

A bit about the Australian Wild Law Alliance:

AWLA was created in 2011 to carry out research, education, promotional and activist work that furthers the understanding, theoretical development and practical application of Earth Jurisprudence and Wild Law in Australia.

AWLA is run by volunteers who are committed to the philosophy and practical implementation of Earth Jurisprudence and Wild Law.

AWLA is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. Membership is open to all individuals and organisations with an interest in Earth Jurisprudence and Wild Law. AWLA’s Board of Management is made up of wild lawyers from around Australia. An Advisory Board is currently being created, which will feature eminent Australian lawyers, scientists and policy makers.

AWLA is connected to a growing network of wild law and rights for nature groups around the world. See AWLA‘s Resources’ page for more details.
